Luxury Winter Wedding Complete With Steal-Worthy Gray-Blue Bridesmaid Dresses

Today’s gorgeous winter wedding was magic all around. From the bride’s romantic long sleeve gown to the jaw-dropping reception adorned in lush greenery to a horse drawn carriage sendoff!! I mean, does it get any cuter than that? We don’t think so. Soiree Weddings and Events brought the bride and groom’s luxury winter wedding vision to life, leaving no detail unturned. Jingle all the way to full gallery to see how it all came together – captured by Branson Maxwell!

From Brandi Reiland, Owner + Creative Director, Soiree Weddings & EventsWhites and greens was the couples style, and once Emma found her bridesmaids dresses- a beautiful gray-blue floor length gown from Bhldn- we used this as the accent color throughout. The wedding luncheon and reception were both held at the family’s private home, and we wanted to give both events a unique personality while still keeping the color palettes and overall style similar.

To do this, we decided to use different areas of the residence for each event, beginning with a tent for the luncheon. Emma wanted the tent vibe to be warm and cozy with lots of candle glow, so we used gorgeous velvet linens, varying candles nestled in and around lush white flowers, and selected several tones of bronze, gold, and darker metals to warm things up even more on the tables. The shining stars of the tables were the custom dyed velvet runners- in the most perfect shade of that dusty blue we all fell in love with. To further cozy up things, we worked with our florist to adorn the tent ceilings with dripping greens and Boise At Its Best built the most amazing trees to fill existing planter areas on the patio- such a perfect way to utilize spaces we wouldn’t normally be able to while adding to the beauty!

After the luncheon, prep was underway for the reception later that evening. We repurposed the tent into a beautiful lounge area filled with food stations- all of Emma and Easton’s favorite foods in small bite portions to encourage lots of mingling and movement. The inside of the building held more guest tables, food stations and the dance floor, underneath the most gorgeous greens and star lights for dancing the night away. A grand send-off was the final surprise of the evening- guests were handed toss cones filled with white petals to shower the bride and groom as they made their way to the horse-drawn carriage…. The sounds of the jingle bells on the horses were beautiful, and perhaps the one Christmas-y item that made it into the wedding. All in all, it was the most magical winter evening.

From the Bride… A precious memory from our wedding was actually in between our luncheon and our reception! We had a little bit of time and so I decided to change into lounge clothes until a few minutes before the guests would arrive. I had just switched into comfy clothes when our photographers came running over to us and telling us we had to come outside because the sunset was gorgeous. I rapidly threw on my dress and we took some of my most favorite photos in the most beautiful sunset. Those photos are so precious to me because they remind me of the sweetest moments I get to spend with my husband and how we can make the most of every moment!
