How did you two meet?

From the Bride... My side of the story: It was Halloween of 2014. I had just moved to Hong Kong 3 weeks prior and was ready to go out and see what the city had in store for me. Halloween is the busiest and craziest night in Hong Kong’s bar/club scene and I was filled with excitement to see what the hype was all about. It took me 1 1/2 hours to get from the train station to the bar where I was supposed to meet up with some friends. For reference sake; on a normal day, it would take 2/3 minutes to get from the train station to the bar, so “crowded” is an understatement here. When I finally reached the bar, which felt like eternity, I hesitated on going in. It seemed like coming out that night was a complete mistake and I wasn’t ready for a whole night of squishy human sandwich party. My friend insisted I go in for a drink and unwillingly, I got dragged in. Upon entering the bar, I scanned the perimeter and found myself intrigued by a guy with a cute smile wearing a chequered dress shirt. This lame individual who didn’t even bother dressing up on Halloween is Jas (typical). At the time, he was inconveniently flirting (he claims it was just talking) with another girl. “Damn it” I thought. “I’ve come too late! The cute one’s gone!” Well, as it appears, I had come at just the right time because shortly after, Jas found himself chatting up with yours truly, and the rest, as we know it, is…history.
