Meryl Davis and Fedor Andreev’s Provence Wedding Is So Stunning It Deserves An Olympic Gold Medal

This French countryside wedding has officially stolen our hearts. Olympic Gold Medalist and Dancing With The Stars champion Meryl Davis said “I Do” to Fedor Andreev at the exquisite Le Mas des Poiriers, an 18th-century farmhouse that feels as if you’re stepping into a fairytale. Inspired by Meryl’s grandmother’s collection of chinoiserie, Matthew Robbins Design created an ambiance of elegance and charm that speaks perfectly to the picturesque setting. The enchantment of the day was forever captured in time by the ever-talented Oliver Fly Photography. Visit the full gallery for a closer look at all the dreamy details.

From the bride… After having been together for many years, and several phases of life, we really wanted our wedding to be about hitting pause on the hustle and bustle of every day. Travel and adventure have been a big part of our lives and we’ve always been quite taken by the way that a particular place can influence a person’s feeling, perspective and experience. So, envisioning an intimate garden ceremony, dinner and celebrations outdoors, the magical landscape and timeless elegance of Provence spoke to us.

After deciding on the location, I was introduced to our planner, Matthew Robbins Design. Matthew, Fedor and I chatted about our vision and we knew we were in good hands. In particular, I mentioned to Matthew that my paternal grandmother had collected blue and white chinoiserie and that the pieces reminded me of intimate family dinners as a child. Matthew and his team really took it from there and made the experience so personal; they got to know us as a couple and integrated pieces of our story into the plan for our wedding weekend.

We were so incredibly grateful to share a few beautiful days celebrating life, love, family and friendship with just under 100 of our closest friends and relatives. The ceremony and celebrations were everything we could have imagined and we felt that the setting allowed us to breathe deeply and be present for this special time in our lives.
