From the bride... The reception was at the University Club of Chicago. We went to see this location with my parents and Nick’s mom. We all immediately fell in love with Cathedral Hall, how could you not? It looks like Hogwarts from Harry Potter! Once we saw this room there were no other options, this had to be it!
It was incredible saying our vows to each other while overlooking Lake Michigan on a beautiful sunny day. Nothing can compare to the love we felt being surrounded by all of our favorite people in one room.
Every speech at the reception had a special meaning behind it, from tears to laughter and lots of love. Our families and closest friends being there to celebrate our love with us made the day pure magic.
