You won’t want to miss this incredibly romantic shoot on the Australian coast! Set at Cottesloe Civic Centre every detail of this editorial says old-world elegance, from the dramatic limestone staircases to the beautifully manicured lawns and garden. The ethereal design elements were expertly planned out by Aravella Event Design, and Wildwood Floral added to the sophisticated aesthetic with overflowing floral designs in neutral tones. From Aravella Event Design… We were inspired by the delicate lace gown by Harriette Gordon with its puffed lantern sleeves and tiered French lace skirt. Each element was intentionally chosen to reflect the same romantic style as the gown, from the neutral color palette, the whimsy unstructured florals, hand-calligraphed details, and the limestone staircases at Cottesloe Civic Centre.

The large limestone staircase offered a dramatic backdrop for our ceremony and only needed a few simple styling touches to complete the look. We incorporated a hand-calligraphed linen sign and old-style urns overflowing with rambling garden roses, wild branches and banksia roses in the same soft neutral tones of the limestone.

For the tablescape, we paired a light natural stone-colored linen with French linen chairs, handmade organic plates, antique cutlery, hand-calligraphed details by Michaela McBride Calligraphy and bronze candlesticks.
