Have you ever walked into a room and felt like you’d fallen into a fairytale? That’s exactly what happened to this couple on their wedding day. A clear tent was transformed into the makings of their wildest dreams. With greenery, candlelight, and origami cranes bringing the ceiling of their ceremony to life! The magic was orchestrated by Clementine Custom Events, who went above and beyond to create a day the bride and groom would never forget. From the bride… We met in college at Miami University of Ohio and started dating our senior year. After graduating college we both decided to move to Chicago and make it our home. The Chicago Illuminating Company could not have been a better space for our wedding. The venue had both the outside space and indoor space that we were looking for.
It is good luck in the Japanese culture to have 1,001 origami paper cranes on your wedding day. The paper cranes, each folded with love, were displayed throughout the ceremony and reception varying in shades of cream and gold. Every guest also received a crane at their place setting.
Our wedding planner Julissa, at Clementine Custom Events, was the most wonderful person to work with and made sure that every detail was perfect. We wish we could do it all again!
