The all-star vendor team were inspired by the walls of Al Seef Heritage Hotel in Dubai to create a styled shoot that encompassed the natural beauty and complimented the unique architecture of the venue – all while keeping the design modern and fresh. From The Purple Chair… Enchanting Arabia – Old world meets new at this locally inspired shoot that took place at the Arabian Heritage hotel, Al Seef. Beautiful traditions intertwine with modern designs to bring together this shoot by The Purple Chair, wedding designers in the UAE.
When first lying eyes on this venue we were instantly inspired and knew we had to create a unique setup that captured all its glory. The region is proud of its iconic architecture and that is evident in this modern venue that was built to preserve the past. The detailing in the walls, doors, and overall ambiance creates an instant unique experience for anyone who visits and transports them back to the 1950s.
We worked with the areas natural beauty to create a setting that was the backdrop of this wedding inspiration. Keeping the authenticity evident in the style was important to us whilst adding elements and colors that brought life to the neutral tones. Lizelle Photography captured the old world charm with stunning images that showcased the bride wearing a modest Bo and Luca wedding gown with intricate details and hand embroidery.
Regional crafts and textiles, clay pots, traditional carpets and brass vases were some of the items used to encompass the old, whilst on the other hand, modern table wear from The Supper House beautifully complimented the accessories and added an exciting element to brides who would also like to embrace the current trends. The cake design by Zoya Cakes was carefully selected to bring a modern taste to the shoot with its edges, whilst remaining classic with its smooth white exterior. We worked closely with Papier Handmade who crafted an elegant stationery set that beautifully married the old and new worlds. We pride ourselves in creating location inspired setups for our weddings and that was the vision behind all the elements curated for this shoot and its creative direction.
