Surrounded by lavender fields and love poems, this couple tied the knot at Carmel Valley Ranch with their family, friends and ALL of the love you could ask for! Love poems were a common theme throughout the wedding from multiple readings during the ceremony and (my personal fave) a love poem placed at every table setting! From the Bride, Sahar...Our day was focused on intimacy and joy. We wanted our wedding to strike the right tone of elegance and romance, but really to be centered above all on surrounding ourselves and our friends and families with as much love as possible.
We took cues from the natural beauty of Carmel Valley Ranch and tried to bring in the splendor of the setting to all of our design elements, including the amazing lavender fields that CVR is known for.
The poetry of love to spoke to both of us, which is why we incorporated elements of poetry throughout the day, from multiple poetry readings in our ceremony, to individual poems on each place setting at dinner.
Highlights from the day included our vows to each other (accompanied by LOTS of happy-crying), having the groom's brothers officiate our ceremony, the incredible food!, and watching our loved ones (shout-out to my grandma) dance their hearts out late into the night.
