A Destination Winery Wedding That Almost Didn’t Happen

Even California wildfires couldn’t stop this couple’s special day. Fires were raging rampant through the Sonoma wine region, making Amanda and Scott fear for the worst. Luckily, fate was on their side, and they were able to have a beautiful outdoor wedding just in the nick of time. Cambria Events created wedding magic with a green and white garden-inspired event. We’re just adoring the overflowing greenery and florals from Vanda Floral Design. Ashley Baumgartner took special care to capture the day that almost wasn’t in the most enchanting of ways. With a celebration this exceptional, there’s no way you can miss the full gallery.

From Ashley BaumgartnerThe bride and groom, along with their guests, were here from out of town. A collection of their favorite people from Minnesota and all over the country had made the trip to California for their special day. A day that almost didn’t happen, but thankfully still did. A day that they will never forget, because of the fires, and because it is the start of their legacy of love.

On the lawn, guests were invited to a classic outdoor reception, complete with wooden signs, a mix of farm tables and rounds, cafe lights, and more dripping florals. Guests danced on the patio under the sky, something they didn’t expect to see with all of the smoke in the area.

Thankful for a safe, beautiful wedding day, the couple headed off to Maui to celebrate their union and the beginning of the rest of their lives together.
