A Trio Of Garden-Inspired Ceremony Arches Wows At This Toronto Wedding

Get ready to be inspired, because this wedding at The Omni King Edward Hotel is class all the way! When these newlyweds began dreaming up their special day, they knew they wanted it to exude sophistication. The result was a lavish affair in a crisp green and white color palette, where the couple said their vows in front of a trio of garden-inspired arches that will leave you speechless! From the bride… Both Justin and I had wanted a very traditional and elegant wedding, which was an important theme throughout the decision-making. From the crown molding that was restored from the 1920’s to the floor-to-ceiling windows, to the intricate gold chandeliers, there is no other venue quite like The Omni King Edward Hotel that embodies those characteristics so evidently in the city of Toronto.

For the ceremony, we had wanted our florals to be prominent, so we selected plexiglass stands and vases for the floral arrangements that surrounded our walk-way to be displayed upon. We had a crisp white runway that lead to our three floral ceremony arches where we exchanged vows.

For the reception, we had altered the vases from plexiglass to very traditional gold vases for our centerpieces. The décor that we had selected had a gold undertone in order to bring out the gold finishes at the Crystal Ballroom. As such, we had upgraded the cutlery to be gold and also had selected gold-rimmed glassware.

Our sweets table was traditional, elegant, and chic. We had wanted the sweets table to have a variety of delicious desserts that were dressed in white and gold with floral décor and eloquent bow-ties. Overall, our wedding day was more than what both Justin and I envisioned. The day was the happiest days of our lives and it will be a milestone that we will forever cherish.
