A Malibu Ranch Wedding Complete With The Tallest Special Guest You Could Imagine!

We’ve seen it all when it comes to guest appearances at weddings from adorable kids and delightful dogs but what we haven’t seen is a giraffe! But, if you take a peek at today’s Malibu wedding at Saddlerock Ranch, you will get to see Stanley who lives on the 200,000 acres of land covered in vines and wine! The Vondy’s were there to photograph the special day, planned by Grace and Gold Events full of lush greenery and rustic details! From The Vondys…Although they didn’t date then, Katie and Ryan actually went to high school together! They ran in the same baseball/softball friend circles but ultimately, went their separate ways. As fate would have it, ten years later, they ran into each other through a mutual friend and the rest is, as they say, history.

These two knew Saddlerock Ranch was “the one” (aka the venue for them) when on one of their Malibu wine tours. Upon hearing they host weddings, Ryan knew this is where he wanted to marry Katie. Awww. It’s actually the perfect spot for both of them because Ryan loves animals and Katie loves wine!

After last 2018’s devastating fires in Malibu, it was amazing to see that Saddlerock Ranch hasn’t lost any of its beauty and Stanley the giraffe is still as friendly as ever. Most of all, we are so happy that these two were able to have the most perfect wedding day and invited us to be a part of it all. We simply had a blast celebrating with these two and their amazing friends and family.
