It goes without saying that beauty and fashion blogger Katie of The DC Darlings has style, so naturally, we couldn’t wait to see her wedding day. Inspired by the royal weddings of Kate Middleton and Megan Markle, Katie opted for timeless elegance at every turn with a white and green color palette and plenty of special touches along the way. Visit the full gallery for an intimate look inside their special day.

From Urban SoireeAs they embarked on planning their wedding day, Katie and Chris knew Newport’s Rosecliff Mansion was the perfect choice. Katie envisioned an elegant day, with plenty of champagne, glitz, and glamour.

Thoughtful details filled the day from start to finish, like a custom-designed crest incorporated into the stationery elements throughout the event. The ceremony was a vision of a modern fairytale event designed with an impossibly romantic style.

They worked alongside a strong team of vendors to bring their vision to life, with thoughtful details like their incredibly stylish tablescapes leaving guests speechless. Katie’s Monique Lhuillier dress stunned bringing the fairytale aesthetic full circle.

The couple’s guests continued the evening inside the mansion for a night of dinner, dancing and celebration. Glowing candles were placed throughout the space for a warm and intimate atmosphere, with festivities carrying the excitement well into the early morning hours.
