Deer Valley might make you think of winter, but this beautiful wedding amidst the mountains will convince you not to sleep on their summer months. The bride and groom chose the Stein Lodge in Park City as their venue without hesitation as it has always been their “happy place” regardless of the season. Located in the heart of the mountains it’s easy to see why. With the help of Jacin Fitzgerald, the couple filled the ski lodge with earth tones and shades of blue that complemented the mountain setting perfectly. From the bride… We spent the day of the wedding at my family’s home in Deer Valley, where all of my bridesmaids and I had been staying. My mom gave me a compilation of letters to open during momentous occasions in life – I will treasure the letters and look forward to opening more. Paul and I exchanged heartfelt letters and gifts prior to our first look.
Our ceremony was held in a very special spot overlooking the mountains. We wanted to make sure the decor didn’t take away from the beauty of the surroundings. Beautiful white florals and a light blue aisle runner were the perfect touch.
The reception decor was stunning and when we first saw it we were speechless. Everything about it was perfect, from the antler chandeliers to the gorgeous flowers, to the velvet linens, to the beautiful cake. It was exactly what I had hoped for!
One of our favorite moments of the night was watching everyone walk into the reception as the room was revealed. The room was stunning and it made us so happy seeing everyone else love it as much as we did!
