Cool girls take note, this is the wedding you need to see. As a photographer and videographer team, Amanda and Cole built their careers documenting love stories. When it came time to plan their own special day, they were overflowing with inspiration. Natural elements like driftwood, mussel shells and pampas grass led the design aesthetic. Laid-back and surrounded by love, the plans for their coastal celebration started to come to life. Careful thought went into planning the overall experience of the day, from the horseshoe-shaped ceremony to the decision to forgo a sit-down dinner and instead fill the entire night with dancing. Each enchanting element was exquisitely captured by Mary Claire Photography. See all of this heartfelt celebration in the full gallery.
From the brideā¦ As a photographer/videographer team we had a unique perspective when planning our wedding. We had seen so much and been inspired by all our past and present couples. To make it uniquely ours, we put thought into every little detail. We made sure the day was full of heart, meaning, and love.
We wanted to do the ceremony a little differently. Guests sat in the shape of a horseshoe so we could be surrounded by our people, the wedding party was invited to be seated during the ceremony to enjoy the moment, and our parents sat on the opposite side of us so they could see our faces during the ceremony.
Our inspiration was a coastal romantic vision using elements of driftwood, pampas grass, mussel shells, and lots of dusty blue hues paired with pops of pink & yellow. We wanted an experience and details that were truly a representation of who we are as a couple.
Having our whole wedding party, parents, and significant others all in one location all weekend long was the best gift we could have asked for. We are so grateful for all of our incredible vendors, family, and friends who made all our dreams come true. We will never forget the magic that happened.
