This Old World Italian Hotel Is Transformed Into Wedding Magic

Visiting The Badia, whose origins make it qualify as the oldest hotel in Italy, is like taking a walk back in time. With just one look at the ancient abbey, spacious park, and hills covered in olive trees and rows of grapevines, Nik and Jen knew it was the perfect place for their special day. They decided to celebrate their mutual love of traveling with a destination wedding and invited 38 of their nearest and dearest to join them. Guests were delighted by the age-old ruins set against trend-forward wedding decor elements like a round wedding arch made of pampas grass! Anna Roussos was there to capture each breathtaking moment. From the bride… We chose Italy because of the beautiful landscapes and architecture, and of course, the amazing food. Once we visited the wedding venue, we knew that we picked the perfect spot for us and could not stop high-fiving each other!

By having the venue in Italy, we could cut our guest list down to a very intimate 38 guests and allowed us to spend quality time with every single guest. This gave us an extra opportunity to spend time with our guests who traveled halfway around the world to celebrate with us.

The beautiful scenery made it all the more special to soak up all the love from family and friends! We couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience or celebration of our love.
