How One Couple Brought the Charm of the French Countryside to Their SoCal Wedding
From the venue to the stationery - today's gorgeous wedding brought the romance and charm of the French countryside to Southern California. HauteFêtes truly thought of everything to bring the couple's vision to life, drawing inspiration from Greystone Mansion's gorgeous grounds to create their color palette and elegant design details. Plenty of Petals incorporated delicate, organic blooms to every arrangement that we'll be swooning over for weeks to come. From Dani at HauteFêtes....The vision really stemmed from the couple’s desire to have a French country feel that complemented the French inspired architecture of Greystone Mansion.
We looked at the venue and surroundings to gain our inspiration which influenced both our color palette and the casual sophistication of our table top.
With nods to the French countryside, we added organic detailing – specifically the honeysuckle motif – that ran through elements from the stationery to the embossed detailing on the cake to the specific variety of honeysuckle vine in the floral arrangements.
As an homage to the bride’s love of pink, we incorporated subtle blush references in the bridesmaids dresses, stationery and rose gold flatware.
