After Their Venue Was Destroyed, They Started from Scratch - Resulting in the Most Elegant Affair to Remember!
After their original venue was destroyed, this couple (somehow) calmly contacted Laurie Arons Special Events to start their wedding planning journey all over again! With Laurie's help, they put together an elegant event at Meadowood Napa Valley full of soft tones and sage green carried throughout the day from the invitation suite to the florals by Kathleen Deery Design! With a creative outdoor bar area to electric tent sides when the evening got chilly, this wedding truly was a sight to be seen and Aaron Delesie captured it all! Take a look below to see it all!
From Laurie Arons Special Events...This incredible couple is special in so many ways. They came to me after their wedding venue was destroyed and they needed to start the planning process over again. They handled the situation with so much grace, compassion and perspective, and I quickly came to realize this is how they handle every situation! Jen has an elegance about her akin to Grace Kelley but is extremely fun and down-to-earth. She found the perfect partner in calm, kind and genuine Bijan.
We set out to plan an elegant affair in Napa Valley, that also felt very relaxed and authentic to the couple. It was important to Jen's whole family that guests feel comfortable and taken care of without it feeling fussy.
Soft tones of whites, pale greens, and light taupes carried throughout the wedding day, from the stunning ceremony arch by Kathleen Deery Design to the natural tent shade by Hensley Event Resources. My favorite element of the tent were the electric shade panels we installed. These panels raised on cue for dramatic guest reveals and closed when the evening turned breezy. It has always been a dream of mine, and I love that Jen & Bij were excited about the idea.
After dinner, the party continued in the dance lounge to the music of Cowling Band...then kept on going with a late-night DJ party in the Vinters Room.
