Taking place at Agecroft Hall in Richmond, VA with a ‘boss babe’ list of vendors, romance along with a bride frolicking through the gardens made up for this sun-kissed shoot, shot by Kim Stockwell Photography! With a simple tablescape crafted of pastel plates and soft, blush blooms by Wild Fleurette, every detail came together and has us thinking of those warmer months already! So, go ahead and take a look and hug that blanket a little tighter!
From Blush Events…Editorial shoots are what happens when we get to play with our favorite colleagues in this niche industry of Richmond, Virginia. Creating the eye candy of the season’s style layered with timeless details is so rewarding to communicate on brand. Working alongside our team of boss babe vendors, precisely conveying our vision to represent a snapshot of everything Blush Events.
Wild Fleurette brought an organic, soft, and fluttering floral vibe. This was essential. We used a combination of greens and delicate blooms, while also keeping a minimalist look. Make way for dogwood, butterfly ranunculus, lisianthus, and sweet pea bliss. We strive for the natural pallet, designing movement for flowers to speak for themselves, a look that’s effortlessly beautiful.
The Elizabethan Gardens are a symmetrical setting for a ceremony, of the 16th century Historic Tudor Estate, Agecroft Hall. The views, manicured landscape, charm of climbing ivy archways and stone balcony, radiate off our model. Making an intentional oasis in something already spectacular, was an enticing feat. The ceremony framed the estate’s unique exterior rich patterned paneling. Paisley & Jade’s Linden chairs blended with the aisle lined florals as if intentionally growing on either side of the rows. The cohesive flow of the invitation suite reflects the blue hues and soft grey of order and opulence!
The bridal style accomplished a natural and soft look for makeup, highlighting a sun-kissed glow. The dress inspiration needed to reflect ethereal and dreamy, bridal being minimal and delicate. The silk dress and lace bolero made two seamless looks, both complementing the bride and the grounds.
Fine Art photography was essential to capture the beauty of the venue and the decisive components that embellished the greenery backdrops for an ethereal glow. The breeze throughout the day created shadows off the flowers on the tables-cape. Kim Stockwell also shot in film which was a huge treat! The collection leans into the dancing rays capturing the ambiance for a warm blanketed look surrounding the shoot.
