From Jessica Grazia Mangia Photography...Oh my gosh wait until you see the reception!!! When Kathy and Peter decided to get married, Kathy wanted a romantic garden wedding and Peter instead was drawn more towards a modern rooftop affair among the West Hollywood-Beverly Hills hotels.
The combination of modern architecture and the soft and feminine flowers creates a unique contrast that makes this wedding really outstanding. The overall romantic garden feeling is muted by the straight skylines and the more contemporary look of the hotel, and the seamless union between the two created a really gorgeous, enchanting scenery keeping it very Hollywood and modern.
From the Bride...It was very important for me to find a photographer that was able to photograph with both film and digital, I have been obsessed with the aesthetic for many many years and one major advice I would give to future brides is not to skimp on your wedding photographer. We chose Jessica Grazia Mangia for her film and digital photography. She blew our mind away with her artistic eye and professionalism. It is needless to say that we’re thrilled with our wedding photos. The vision for our wedding day was captured perfectly, beyond flawlessly and it shows.
I wanted a garden wedding and my fiancé (now husband), wanted a glamorous rooftop affair to revisit the day he proposed to me. We toured several venues and then I’ve got inspired by the London Hotel West Hollywood for its terrace and rooftop with sweeping views of the entire city. I envisioned a canopy tented reception space with elegant chandeliers. I really wanted an elegant garden feel with lots of greens, blush tones, and touches of gold. Charlene and Sanam of L’amour Events did an incredible job bringing to life my ideas, alongside City Flowers who did an extraordinary job with the florals in both the ceremony and reception spaces.
From L'Amour Events Production...For this wedding, in particular, we planned for a magical and whimsical, yet soft and sweet vibe to attribute to the beautiful couple. In order for us to bring this vision to life, we took an outdoor venue, tented it with draping fabrics, and added chandeliers to finish off an enchanted and elegant look.
Our color scheme consisted of light colors, such as cream and blush, for a romantic feel. We incorporated tea lights, and roses galore, along with hints of greenery. At every seating, we placed yummy cupcakes topped with delicate flowers made out of frosting by the amazing Dear Cake for the guests to take home with them and look back on after the event.
