A Huge Floral Chuppah, the Cutest Flower Girl Ever and a French Fry Bar… Yup, This Wedding Wins.

We’re pretty sure we’re developing an unhealthy obsession with this wedding – it. is. PERFECTION. I mean, a french fry bar? We’re just bummed our invite got lost in the mail ;) In all seriousness, today’s wedding planned by Vanessa Michelle Co. and designed by Stacey Elaine Photography will leave you wanting more. From the towering floral chuppah by Wilder Floral Co. to the enchanting reception at Greystone Mansion to the personalized accents at every turn – the details in this gallery captured by Tenth & Grace are truly beyond words.

From the Bride… In 2006, I was having my sweet sixteen birthday party at my neighborhood clubhouse. I asked a mutual friend what I should do to make sure my party wasn’t boring. He suggested having Sean’s brother’s band come and perform. I loved the idea and told him to ask them to come. The band agreed and Sean came along to help the band. We met briefly that night, but remained connected over the years through our mutual friend.

Fast forward to 2015, destiny aligned and we both were finally single at the same time! We reconnected and began dating right away. As the years went by, we grew more and more in love with one another. Sean proposed on our roadtrip from Los Angeles to San Francisco during a photo shoot at Big Sur. We both love California and visit often. We knew we wanted to get married there. So, we began planning our intimate destination wedding in California.

When it came to planning our wedding, we wanted to make sure our friends and family saw details that represented us as a couple and as individuals. For me, we had a French fry bar because everyone knows about my love of French fries. We had tiny butterflies fluttering throughout the details because I connect with them in memoriam for my grandma. For Sean, we tied in his lifetime love of the movie Toy Story. I referenced the movie in my vows and we exited the ceremony to the song “You’ve Got a Friend In Me.” We also always say, “I love you to infinity and beyond,” as our words of affection (another nod to his love for Toy Story), so we included that on our favors and cake topper. Our wedding was “us” from start to finish. It was the most magical day of our lives, and our vision came together exactly like we imagined!

Our ceremony was my favorite memory of the day. I remember feeling so relaxed and excited right before I walked down the aisle. When we were standing under our gorgeous flower-adorned chuppah, holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes, I became so giddy happy, with a big, cheesy smile glued to my face. It was so hard to not jump up and down and do my happy dance.

Then, as I read my vows, I saw Sean holding back his emotions. He never cries and he still didn’t, but I could see the emotions in his eyes and his lips as he held them back. Both of us were so present in that moment, it was beautiful.
