Boy do we have a good one for you today, friends… a breathtaking French villa, pretty in pink details, floral instillations at every turn and the most unique and gorgeous escort card concept ever! From the couple… We both had very different ideas of the types of wedding we wanted to have. I wanted to have a large party in the Bay Area celebrating with all of my friends. She wanted a more intimate setting out of the city. After much back and forth, we agreed to have it in France and closed on our wedding planner — Anne-Laure.

We’re heavily involved in the music festival scene and we met a handful of our bridesmaids groomsmen, and friends though these festivals. So our wedding theme inspiration was music. Everything from our background music, ceremony music, table arrangements, fireworks, and first dance were all EDM-acoustic inspired.

We can’t stop raving about our wedding planner and vendors. It’s really important to develop a rapport with them so that they know how to manage you and your expectations the day of. We were able to relax a bit and joke around with some of the vendors — even took away some friendships out of this wedding.

Lastly, we want to pass on a few words. Everyone wants everything to be perfect, but that’s not always the case. For example, we prayed for no rain, we received Europe’s record breaking heat wave for 2019 instead.

Other minor details for the event did not unfold. The only people who knows about these things are you and the wedding planner. Your guests are completely oblivious to it. Don’t let the little things ruin your fun-filled day. At the end of the day, your guests are what make the wedding day a truly memorable day.
