We don’t know if it’s the charming old manor home, the post-storm sun rays streaming through the tented reception or the way he looks at her – but something about this wedding is sure giving us all the feels. Scrolling through the full gallery captured by Will Reid Photography is like an instant mood booster! Blush and Bloom decorated their day with the most beautiful flowers while Shealyn Angus had the festivities going off without a hitch (even after an unexpected, epic rainstorm!) From Shealyn Angus… Barbara and Justin’s wedding was a gorgeous al fresco dining experience at a manor estate in the heart of Toronto. The bride and groom spent their morning a part, Barb getting ready at the Four Seasons Toronto, and the groom, Justin, getting ready at the couple’s waterfront condo. They met down the aisle at the historic St. Michael’s Basillica in downtown Toronto. Following the ceremony the skies opened up and poured an epic rain storm to salute the happy newlyweds. But that didn’t stop their epic love celebration from pushing forward!
Up at Graydon Hall Manor in the north end of the city, our team brought to life an incredibly romantic al fresco dining experience on the terrace of the old manor home. With a clear tent and twinkling lights, the vibe was romantic, garden inspired, and down right gorgeous.
The tables were long whitewashed wooden tables with white crossback chairs to accent in the perfect “rustic but romantic” way. Long grey chiffon runners adored the tops, and vibrant copper charger plates made a huge impact statement at each place setting. The chargers were topped with mix matched lace scalloped edged plates and gorgeous platinum flatware. Match bread and butter plates were topped with little boxes of custom hand painted macarons by Nadia and Co. To top it all off, Blush & Bloom created outrageous gorgeous florals that adorned the centre of every table in an abundantly flowy manor.
The florals were hues of ivories, whites, peach, and soft pinks, complimented by sage greens and brushed metallics. The bride and groom’s sweet heart table was accented by two gorgeous en provence chairs with wreaths of florals adorned on the back.
Guests were treated to a five course dinner by renown caterer Couture Cuisine. Courses included hand made burrata, fresh crab cakes, a champagne palette cleanser, locally raised beef or east coast cod, and an immaculate creme brule for dessert. It was absolutely to die for! Guests danced the night away inside the beautiful Georgian style manor (built in 1939!) and snacked on late night sweets and champagne.
