It is no secret that every bride-to-be spends too much time checking weather apps, statistics, etc. to ensure that it does not rain on their wedding day. Today’s bride did exactly that and with a less than 1% chance of rain, it poured! All of the vendors rallied together for ‘Plan B’ which looking at the photos by The Ganey’s, it’s hard to believe this was a backup plan. Lily & Mint Floral Co. wow’d with overflowing bouquets and floral arrangements and Going Lovely transformed the new ceremony location into the most romantic backdrop to exchange ‘I Do’s!’ Take a peek at Annie and Tim’s Silverado Resort wedding below….and save that stunning rain shot to your Pinterest boards!
From The Ganey’s…Annie and Tim’s Silverado Resort wedding didn’t exactly go as planned – thanks to the weather – but that made this day even more special! When Annie was picking their wedding date, she did a 10-year statistical analysis that proved there was less than a 1% chance of rain on their wedding day. All of the vendors came together, pulling together a beautiful “plan B” that was equally stunning!
Annie wore the prettiest Pronovias gown. Her illusion neckline included lace detailing that crawled up her back. She wore a diamond necklace, gifted to her by Tim’s family. Lily & Mint created the perfect bouquet for her – filled with roses, ranunculus, and greenery.
With the rain pouring down, we opted to do the first look on the wraparound porch. Tim was so excited to see his bride! Shortly after, the wedding party joined us. The bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses with mismatched necklines.
The tea ceremony took place in one of the rooms in Silverado Resort’s main buildings. Annie changed into a traditional red dress and adorned family jewelry. One by one, family members came up and Annie and Tim served them tea. Well wishes were whispered and hugs were plentiful!
The wedding ceremony “plan B” was held in a tent – and it was stunning! Complete with circular chandeliers, an arch, and four lush arrangements, it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The aisle was lined with greenery and candles. It is hard to believe this wasn’t the original plan! Tim and Annie exchanged personal vows. It is so clear that these two complement each other in the best way! Towards the end of the ceremony, they both gifted their families an arrangement of flowers as a thank you for everything they’ve done that has lead them to this point.
The wedding reception was stunning. At every place, guests were welcomed with a wood laser cut place card at their seat. The velvet linens were the perfect touch. A three-tiered cake with gold detailing and florals sat beside Annie and Tim’s sweetheart table.
The reception began with Annie and Tim’s first dance and then continued onto toasts. My favorite part was when Tim and Annie’s mom performed “Everything” for Annie. We’ve never seen a live performance like that at a wedding – and Tim did an amazing job singing! Once the dance floor opened, this group was ready to party! The floor was packed nonstop – we were so impressed with everyone’s moves!
