We often hear of stories where an heirloom ring was passed down and therein is full of sentimental value. But this Bride’s engagement ring was custom crafted by her Groom-to-be with her Mother’s memory in mind. It’s the sweetest story and you can read it all below, alongside Cavin Elizabeth‘s stunning imagery of their engagement session.
From Cavin Elizabeth Photography… Brieze and Peter, who live and work in San Francisco in the medical and technology fields, traveled to Palm Springs for their La Quinta Resort engagement photos. They get married at the Miramonte later this year and were in town for a tasting. Because they got engaged at La Quinta, I suggested it as the perfect location for their engagement session.
As you can see, Brieze’s ring is such a showstopper. Not only is it striking and gorgeous, it also has a very sentimental story behind it. Brieze’s mother Beth was a fine jewelry designer and had planned to design her daughter and son-in-law’s rings. Sadly, Beth passed away last April and was not able to create the jewelry for the loving couple. In her honor, Peter designed Brieze’s engagement ring with a carat count that matched Beth’s birthday. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ring with a story that made me teary eyed until I saw Brieze’s. Her ring holds so much beauty in every way.
