This is the Perfect Wedding Blueprint for an Old World French Vibe
This entire editorial was inspired by that stunner Kate McDonald dress, and understandably so. From that, stemmed a French-inspired garden wedding blueprint that I truly hope one of you will scoop up and turn into your own. Kaleb Norman James Design, Maria Lamb and Amanda K Photography all made it come to life here in the full gallery.
The inspiration behind this shoot came after finding this Kate McDonald dress. We were immediately stuck by the gowns combination of the soft blue tones and the darker blue & purple accents in the beading. It all just felt very French.
The design for the shoot continued from there, bringing out the gowns accent colors into the floral & tablescape, with the mauve velvet chairs, light blue table linen & soft lavender/blush tones in the lilacs & peonies. The paper goods brought in the old world French vibe with our tonal color palette & vintage classic portraits throughout.
