This Pronovias Dress + Sonoma Vineyard Make for One Seriously Romantic Affair
If your wedding dress is one of the first things you dream about diving into when it comes to wedding planning, I highly suggest you take a looksie at this little Pronovias number. It's a beaut, and this Bride absolutely rocks it. Not to mention, it was the loveliest choice for this vineyard affair at Gundlach Bundschu in Sonoma. Planned by A Savvy Event and captured by Carlie Statsky, you'll find loads of neutrals, ivory blooms an al fresco reception overlooking the vines. What are you waiting for?
From the Bride... When we first visited Gundlach Bundschu in Sonoma, we were immediately struck by the winery's natural beauty. Upon our arrival we were guided through a rustic wine cave lined with barrels that opened up to an unexpected, breathtaking view of the hills overlooking the vineyard with a pond in the background.
We imagined what the space would look like in the spring with fresh leaves on the vines, flowers in bloom and freshly cut grass, with candles placed between each of the wine barrels to illuminate the walkway through the cave. We loved the thought of having our guests walk through a cave unaware of what awaited them on the other side. We would have a live band, delicious food, a wide variety of wine, and a dance floor that was never empty.
We chose colors and details that enhanced the winery's surroundings. The flowers were shades of white, cream and blush with lots of greenery. The bride's gown was adorned with lace and floral accents. The groom wore blue and silver. The bridesmaids were in long taupe dresses and the groomsmen in grey suits with midnight blue ties. We decorated the venue with flowers, wooden signs and gold picture frames. We also incorporated aspects of the bride's Japanese culture, with silver paper cranes and a gold obi with floral embroidery. Our wedding resembled us.
