Raise your hand if you’re still on the hunt for your wedding color palette?! If you’re on team colorful, let me introduce to you the loveliest slice of inspiration from some of my very favorite people in the wedding industry. With Smith + James Events behind the design and Kelly Lenard on blooms, hues like carnelian, coral, teal and purple are paired up for a vibrant melody. It all starts with a stellar invitation suite from Plume Calligraphy, and can we talk about that table, dressed in La Tavola and graced with rentals from Casa de Perrin and The Ark? SO good. Luna de Mare captured every angle of pretty—right this way.
From Smith + James Events… Although it’s usually in our nature to sway towards the neutrals, we wanted to put together a look that was bright and celebrated springtime and all the beautiful blooms of the season. Shades of coral, carnelian orange, teal, and purple came together in an Old World setting for a vibrant, punchy look. We are really excited with how it turned out and thrilled to be working with such a dream team of vendors!
Beatrice Howell of Luna De Mare was behind the camera capturing all this goodness. Kelly Lenard was in from Chicago working her floral magic. She is truly an artist. Sharon Y. Park made our model look so beautiful, I love the soft half up-do she did. Beauty was on point! Aileen from Plume made us the most beautiful invite suite and we had a blast playing with styling.
We chose traditional Oscare de la Renta coral-colored dish ware from Casa de Perrin that really brought the color palette on the table to a bold and adventurous place but with a classic feel. We always love their gold-rimmed stemware, it feels so expensive. The velvet, peacock-colored linen from La Tavola balanced out the orange and really made the colors of the floral pop off the table. When matched with the folding teak chairs, it really brought the ‘dining al fresco in the garden’ moment to life. We added daffodils to the cake and really felt that was a magical part of the day.
