I look at every wedding editorial we share like a mini lesson in wedding planning. After all, the pros are creating a pretty little Big Day blueprint just for you! Today’s blending of styles is the main focus and one you should heed. If you’re scouting venues with an industrial vibe, make sure to give your space a bit of soft contrast like Mari Foster did here; layering in florals from Evergreen Flower Co. and a flowing Willowby Watters dress. Lauren Lee created a collection of images that you can study in depth to pull inspo from for your own celebration—see them all here.
From Lauren Lee Photo… For this wedding editorial, we had a lot of fun playing off of the natural and organic design aesthetic of the venue. Our minimalistic table-scape added a pop of color to the space as the twists and turns of the centerpiece created flowing movement. To complete the look, we fell in love with velvet table linens and a soft yet playful gown. The flowers and color scheme were inspired by the season. Spring flowers such as lilac and parrot tulips were an essential part of the design. We also incorporated Japanese ranunculus, delphinium, and sweet pea.
