In a day where modern al fresco weddings and laid back wedding venues are around every corner you turn—it’s so refreshing to see a classic, fine art take on ballroom weddings. That’s exactly what Megan Lee and Soiree by Souleret envisioned for their recent editorial. It’s just the right amount of elegance, mixed with playful touches. The goal for this wedding inspired shoot was to bring back the luxury ballroom weddings in the fine art field of photography. Living in a big city like Pittsburgh, the majority of weddings are big and beautiful ballrooms. By hiring a photographer who knows how to create stunning “light and airy” reception images, a bride and groom can get a consistent final gallery!
With all the talk of royal weddings in 2018, the planner brought back the rich tones of gold and emerald to create a stunning ballroom style wedding in the heart of the Steel City (Pittsburgh, PA)! The couple that modeled in this shoot are engaged and getting married next year. They are both dancing partners at the Pittsburgh Ballet, so their chemistry and elegance for this shoot was perfect!
