For these two hometown sweethearts, meeting in the middle made for most of their relationship and for the perfect venue, Excelsior to seal the deal! With an industrial setting, soft touches of blush and rose gold set the tone for the day. From the Bride…Scott and I met in our hometown West Chester, Pennsylvania, however, it wasn’t until after college that we really got to know one another. My best friend from high school was dating Scott’s older brother and introduced us. From the moment I met Scott there was something that sparked inside of me and I knew that one day I would marry him.

More from the Bride… Although we faced the challenge of long distance and living in two different cities during most of our relationship, we were determined to make it work and see each other every weekend. Much of our relationship was meeting the other person halfway which was one reason we picked our venue, Excelsior, located halfway between Philadelphia and Baltimore.
Scott and I envisioned a modern bohemian theme with as much greenery as possible! Once we saw the green wall at Excelsior we knew we had found our venue. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect (less the high 90s temperature) from the ceremony in front of the stunning green wall, to the cocktail hour in the catacombs and courtyard, formal dinner upstairs and dancing the night away with a wonderful band.
I had always dreamed of ending my wedding day walking side by side with my husband between all of our family and friends holding sparklers and our amazing vendors were able to pull it off to perfection!
Each of our vendors made us feel so special throughout the whole process. Scott and I feel very blessed to have had so many great people turn our visons into our dream wedding! The pictures speak for themselves…
