Nestled in the Santa Ynez Valley, this secluded Rancho Bella Vista estate surrounded by acres of alluring walnut groves, unrestricted views of the Santa Ynez wine county and glorious mountains was the muse for this wedding shoot. With the estate’s and nature’s beauty in mind, I decided to create an effortless romantic design using a soft color palette along with black accents to modernize this country chic look.
Enchanted Garden incorporated lots of beautiful flora such as Parrot Tulips, Ranunculus, Sweet Peas, Fritillaria, Roses, Anthurium, Quince Blossom Branches, Bleached Italian Ruscus, Bleached Bunny Tail and Bleached Umbrella Fern to add dimension and texture to the florals for arch, tables cape and bouquets.
The wedding cake with ethereal beauty was designed by Sweet Novelette using edible hand-torn wafer paper manipulated to represent topographic landscape. The cake was accented by free-style flowers that mimic the sweet pea flower, this delicate technique Sweet Novelette has named “floating blooms.”
Theoni Collection provided all of the rentals including all the table top rentals. The napkins accented with a black seam were provided by The Hostess Haven. The wedding gown, Sensa provided by Panache Santa Barbara, was designed by Estee Couture who are know for their light weight and delicate gowns that are equal parts modern and timeless. The tux was provided by Generation Tux, who custom fits their suits for their clients.
The classic stationery was created by Darla Marie Designs. The shoot was captured on film by Jenny Quicksall Photography and the cinematography by Aziz Studios.
