If you need a little extra push to choose California as your wedding destination, all you need to do is look at the golden hour light that graces today’s editorial from Janna Brown Design Co. and Katie Grant Photography. Kestrel Park soaks up that glow and bounces it right back off that beautiful backdrop. Add in one ridiculously pretty Galia Lahav dress, neutral details and an al fresco table and you’ve got a true west coast wedding.
From Janna Brown Design Co.… The California light was showing off as we frolicked through the rolling hills of Kestrel Park. We chose an ancient oak tree to serve as the ceremony backdrop, and adorned a single chair with abundant blooms. The wind moved through the tall golden grass in waves, and Nelly’s Galia Lahav gown floated behind her as the sun set her aglow. We chose a small bouquet finished with silk ribbon, brimming with buttery roses, flannel flower, hellebore and fritillaria. For the tablescape, we paired oatmeal velvet linens with the same floral palette, and hand calligraphed details by Veronica Halim.
