Dusty Blue Garden Wedding at The Rust Manor House

For these ‘university sweethearts,’ a romantic garden wedding at The Rust Manor House was the perfect setting to say I Do and I couldn’t agree more! There is something about those dusty blue details against a lush green backdrop, that kept me scrolling for more. Add in the couple’s adorable french bulldog puppy and a second reception dress and I was completely sucked in! Audra Wrisley Photography was there to photograph the day planned by SRS Events and captured every romantic moment, including their choreographed first dance. Can you even handle it?!

From the Photographer…Synnie & James’s beautiful and intimate Rust Manor House wedding was held in the historic property’s garden and tented areas and filled with ivory blooms and greenery at every corner! The couple met and fell in love in college at Virginia Tech, and their relationship slowly blossomed since their university years.

James proposed in Paris on a European trip the couple took last year, and they subsequently started dreaming up their magical wedding celebration. Synnie’s eye for detail brought so many delightful touches to their wedding day, and the color palette of dusty blue paired with the garden greens and ivory florals was absolutely gorgeous on film.

They even had their adorable French Bulldog puppy Mochi in on the fun, and he was such a sweet addition to the day! Synnie and James celebrated their vows with a beautiful bubble exit and welcomed guests into the tented reception area for dinner and dancing.

The couple’s favorite part of the wedding was their incredible first dance, inspired by the film La La Land. Spending their weekly date nights working on choreography to a beautiful song from Amelie, the couple wowed their guests with their lovely wedding dance.
