Blush & Navy Spring Wedding at Brandywine Manor House

Ashley and Chris are a duo after my own heart... their love for Sunday brunch inspired their wedding day celebration at Brandywine Manor House. The barn added a layer of rustic romance, complete with a perfectly blushing palette. Take a peek below to let this sweet day inspire your own, within the gorgeous imagery of Erika Brown.
From the Bride, Ashley Cowan... My husband (Chris) and I are both morning people and LOVE Sunday Brunch. We also love hiking and the outdoors so the beautiful landscape of Brandywine Manor House was perfect for us. The barn offered a natural and rustic setting amidst gorgeous outdoor landscape.
Even though the wedding ceremony could not be outside, we were able to use the barn, lake, trees, and spring growth for the backdrop of our special day.
In the decor, we tried to bring in BRUNCH everywhere we could—coffee beans in the place card display, fruit in the centerpieces, and of course gourmet favorites from the best of both breakfast and lunch, of course! (This included doughnuts for dessert and wedding cake flavors of orange and lemon-blueberry with cinnamon buttercream!)
I wanted the colors to be romantic, light, and airy to contrast the rich of the barn and blend with the beauty of spring. We knew from the moment we booked our wedding, we wanted to secure out photographer who has a special gift of capturing light, romance, and love.
