Loves, if you’re on the hunt for the perfect bridal shoes, look no further. I am actually considering planning a vow renewal just so I can scoop up one (or two) of these beauties. A shoe change is just as acceptable as a dress change, right? This editorial was dreamt up around Bella Belle Shoes‘ latest collection and it couldn’t be more alluring. It’ll make you want to lift up that dress and show off your feet on the Big Day. With Laura Gordon behind the lens and an incredible vendor team to execute the vision, including Joy ProctorNaomi DeManana and Gabrielle Hurwitz, I have a feeling you might just find your dream pair in the bunch.

Today, while we are swooning over the premier of this Bella Belle Shoes editorial, Bella Belle is in Japan, launching its new collection exclusively at the largest department store: Isetan Shinjuku. To all our Japan-based brides, you can now see these gorgeous creations in person at Isetan Shinjuku from 13-19 February. Double congrats to Bella Belle!

More about the collection… Bella Belle’s latest shoe collection, Edelweiss, is inspired by the namesake flower grown in the Swiss mountain region. Rare and pure, Edelweiss symbolizes an everlasting love and undying devotion. Folklore has it that presenting your loved one with Edelweiss is a profession of an eternal love and lifetime devotion. The shoe collection features everlasting details, such as pearls and lace. You will also find delicate, white floral buds depicting the Edelweiss. The collection also highlights our devotion to our craft – creating shoes that make women feel stunning and comfortable in.

Love and devotion stand the test of time. That is the message weaved in this magnificent editorial. To capture the essence of the collection and its sentimental symbolism, we commissioned the brilliant Laura Gordon behind the lens. She brought the concept to life with her exploration of light and shadow in each frame she composed, creating a sublime quality that’s hard to forget. Set in a century-old building with aging details, the backdrops convey the essence of the passing of time.

To evoke resilience and hope of an undying love, Naomi DeManana created lush blooming field of meadows against paint-chipped walls. The team from Facetime Beauty added a touch of youthfulness with glowy natural makeup and wind-swept hair. Romantic tulle and blossom-filled dresses envisioned by Gabrielle Hurwitz looked remarkably haunting against dilapidated chairs and other century-old elements. All the elements are brought to life through Joy Proctor’s masterful eye and touch. In the end, the Edelweiss shoe collection that represents love and devotion, is effortlessly translated in this editorial.
