Hannah & Zohair celebrated their love with family and friends in a seamless cultural fusion that sings with color and happiness. Event of the Season made that dream come true for this Bride & Groom with their planning and design genius. From Event of the Season… Working with Hannah & Zohair on their wedding design was a really fun process. They met in the Funk Zone of Santa Barbara and envisioned a romantic, colorful, and classic Indian fusion wedding. The palette was composed of variations of deep saturated and vibrant pinks and reds with accents of rich orange, purple and navy with pops of gold. Guests were welcomed with a grand champagne tower display accented with colorful fruits and floral details. The ceremony featured a large mandala inspired design created with petals and floral garlands that went the full length of the aisle. At the end of the aisle were petite gold vessels filled with colorful blooms and petals. The arch was accented with one large offset floral piece, organic arrangments at the base of each side, and one of our favorite elements, colorful hanging tassels. The best parts of the ceremony were the appearance of the couples 3 pups, Simba, Rajah, and Johnny Walker Black, and performance by two of their closest friends. After the ceremony, the couple changed into traditional Indian attire. Cocktail hour on the terrace showcased a large full floral elephant, bringing in the symbol of Zohairs family heritage from India, that acted as the centerpiece for a beautiful charcuterie display. An illustration of the couple and their 3 pups, created by Chasing Linen, was available for guests to sign their special wishes. After the cocktail hour guests were invited to find their seats from a display of hanging floral garlands, drawing from the design of the ceremony arch. The reception was set with colorful lounge groupings, linen-draped tables, clusters of vibrant blooms and candles, and modern metallic pendants and lanterns strung overhead.
