This fete was held at the Bride’s parents’ home and not to mention, all planned in just a few months. From Kristine Herman… On a sunny day in Atherton, California, Oracle’s CEO Mark Hurd and wife Paula hosted the wedding of their daughter, Kelly to Tommy Umberg, son of Tom Umberg, currently running for State Senate this fall. Surrounded by friends, family, and some of California’s elite including Senator Barbara Boxer and Oracle’s cofounder Larry Ellison, Kelly and Tommy welcomed guests to a classic and timeless evening, complete with a private performance by the couple’s favorite band, Lord Huron.
Planned, designed, and coordinated by Hartmann Studios, the Hurds’ backyard was adorned with greenery and white florals, candles, garden lights, and several bar and lounge areas including an exclusively whiskey bar and the bride’s signature cocktail, a Moscow Mule. Guests feasted on a five star dinner, a dessert bar, and smores, while enjoying not one, but two live band performances west of the pool and lounge area. This backyard event was nothing short of classic, elegant, and timeless and all planned within two months!
