We’re just going to put this out there – South Carolina’s low country is one of the most romantic places in America to tie the knot. Century-old oak trees cloaked in Spanish moss, riverside views and charming white chapels on every street corner… how could we not fall in love?! Today’s winter wedding captured by Dock House Digital and Ashley Seawell Photography at one of our favorite venues in the South, Montage Palmetto Bluff, is all sorts of romantic. From the burgundy bridesmaid dresses to the elegant bouquets by August Floral Design to the cutest trolley ever – every inch of this wedding is straight out of a storybook. Amanda and Chase’s wedding was elegant in the surroundings of the South Carolina lowcountry at the Montage Palmetto Bluff. The bride and groom decided that this area would be the perfect wedding location as it provided a destination wedding location that wasn’t too far from home.

They were excited to bring their family and friends to a space that was peaceful and filled with natural beauty. The team at Meagan Warren Weddings helped the couple to plan their wedding from a distance.

The ceremony took place in the Somerset Chapel at Palmetto Bluff. The reception followed at the Oldfield River House, overlooking the Okatee River. Following dinner, guests danced under a clear tent among the pristine oaks.
