Heather and Karson came to me from Lubbock, Texas to plan their “destination” wedding in the Dallas area. From the moment we began our discussions I knew Heather and I would be the perfect pair! When we started focusing on design, we quickly discovered a shared love of the color pink. We played with all shades — from the palest of pinks to the darkest fuchsia and then added pops of dusty blue. The outcome was sensational and the perfect way to soften the barn at The Venue At Waterstone…. from Query Events with photography by Lauren Peele.

More from Query Events…. Sadly, Heather’s mother passed away several years back so we started working on the perfect details to include her mother’s memory. We placed a photo of Heather’s mother on her wedding day and laid a floral crown composed of pink carnations, her favorite flower next to it. Knowing that carnations were so important to Heather’s memory of her mother, we incorporated mini spray versions of the bloom in each arrangement throughout the reception space. Every detail from the centerpieces to memorial video played during toasts brought the essence of her beloved mother into the room.

This couple was amazing to work with and together, we compiled an all-star team of wedding vendors. Lauren Peele Photography, a Dallas based fine art film photographer, captured each image to perfection. What an amazing day with two wonderful families!
