Add A Splash of Color + Elegance to Your Ranch Wedding
The inspiration for this styled shoot was all about vibrancy of color! So many times I find as a wedding planner that my brides love color in their day-to-day lives, yet are so leery about incorporating beautiful color into their wedding! I also come across many brides who love the idea of an outdoor, ranch-setting for their wedding, yet they want the formal elegance of a chic wedding. I blended these two ideas to create magic at the gorgeous venue of Whispering Rose Ranch in Solvang, California. ~ Detailed Touch Events
Emily of Emily Reynolds Design infused a variety of pink and coral florals that set the tone for the color palette. I added in a splash of blue to create a bold dimension for the table scape setting provided by Casa de Perrin. La Tavola grounded the tabletop with a linen table drape and we finished the look off with a rustic yet sophisticated linen round back chair. Sophia of Sophia Loves Letters created beautiful watercolor stationery that complimented the playfulness that we were creating with all of the color.
Since this shoot was all about the colorful florals, I chose a stunning Marchesa dress from Kinsley James Couture bridal salon that was adorned with delicate floral petals. The feathers at the bottom of skirt and train were just an extra added bonus for dimension and spunk. To continue with the sophisticated, chic bridal attire, I chose coral toned, peep-toed Christian Louboutin heels. I can’t wait to share this styled shoot with my future brides to show them that strong colors and rustic settings can still be timeless, classic, upscale and beautiful!
