From the bride… I made it very clear before the wedding planning process even began that I would not DIY a on single thing. I am a minimalist, so I wanted the beauty of the venue to speak for itself and not clutter it. For me, the most memorable thing about the wedding were our vows. To hear my husband speak – so authentic, so vulnerable and beautiful, well… it just brought tears to my eyes!

My best piece of advice to brides-to-be is to prioritize your preparation time and energy on the things that will bring you and your partner the most joy. Since I knew I had very limited resources and a tight budget, I focused my energy on getting the best possible Day-of-Coordinators, DJ/MC, and Photographer since I knew those vendors could make or break my day.
Remember, this is the one day where all the people you love will be in one place to celebrate yours and your significant other’s love. Be authentic and enjoy yourself! Don’t worry so much about impressing everyone.
