From Claire Duran Events… Lili and Leo live in NYC. Both having families from the Dominican Republic and Colombia, they wanted to have a destination wedding in a location that had special meaning to their origins and culture. They set for Santo Domingo’s Colonial City in the Dominican Republic, first settlement in the New World. It was also so special to be to plan a wedding only 15 minutes away from were I personally grew up. Saying I was excited about being their planner is an understatement. The beautiful architecture of the 1500s where all their events took place, was already as beautiful of a backdrop as any wedding would ever wish for! Combining a team of creatives both from the United States and locally, this wedding showcases a lovely palette of pastels with a touch of burgundy and soft and romantic details.
