Not too long ago we interviewed Sara from onelove photography about ‘natural light photography’ and featured the chat on SMP (right here). It’s kind of no wonder that we publish her weddings pretty often on the Little Black Book Blog! Today’s wedding – at the Los Angeles River Center & Gardens is filled with so many special touches and design elements that the bride took on herself. We really hope you’ll take a close look at the full gallery for SO many more images of the fun details.

From the Bride… Our wedding had to be number one, beautiful, and number two, a lot of fun for the guests. We provided a whiskey bar, a donut bar, a taco truck, and plenty of time to dance. We even kicked off the after-dinner party with a special couple’s coordinated dance to Silento’s Watch Me (Whip/Ne Ne) song, which set the tone that we wanted for the rest of the evening. It was an exciting and memorable night for everyone.
The look we were going for was a 1920’s garden wedding, but we didn’t want our wedding to be overly “themed” either, so there were only gentle touches of decor that reminded us of it. We wanted the party to feel classic and relaxed at the same time, and filled with tons of botanicals, so the garden venue Los Angeles River and Gardens was a perfect location for us to celebrate.
