You all are in for such a treat because today we are diving into three insanely beautiful features from friend and photographer extraordinaire, Erich McVey. First up is a destination affair like no other. When we think of Bali, it’s all tropical beaches and lush greenery and this wedding definitely has all of that. BUT, it also incorporates a fully decked out black tie celebration designed by Joy Proctor and planned by Wedding Atelier, along with florals by Bows and Arrows. It’s crazy gorgeous with a side of vacation wanderlust.
From Joy Proctor… Erin and Matt’s wedding was inspired by the beauty and culture of Bali. The neutral color palette of creme, taupe and green with gold and wood accents were taken from the landscape and architecture of Bali. The historic Villas at Khayangan Estate set the perfect backdrop for the oceanfront event. Guests were greeted with fresh coconuts and they made their way to the ceremony. After exchanging vows, the couple invited their guests for drinks and canapés as the sun set. The reception was held in a draped tent with woven lamps hanging overhead. The tables were filled with locally foraged flowers and heavy candlelight. Much of the design was inspired by Erin’s stunning Naeem Kahn gown. The lace pattern was used throughout the stationery as well as the cake including laser cut invitations and menus.
