Blogger Bride Grace Shares How to 'Propose' to Your Bridal Party

Hi y'all! Grace here from A Southern Drawl! I recently 'proposed' to my bridesmaids and it was so unbelievably special to me! I think it has been my favorite part of the wedding planning thus far.
How I asked my bridesmaids

Many of my girlfriends knew it was coming. We had been friends since childhood and have already conquered a couple weddings together, but I still wanted to do something special for them. Many of my friends live in different cities (we've got some in Chicago, New York, you name it), so the only day everyone was in town happened to be on my birthday. It couldn't have worked out better!
We scheduled a birthday brunch and I brought everyone the cutest little gift bags filled with some goodies: personalized lavender candles, Sugarfina sweet treats, and a personalized card. The cards were the most special part -- I took my time on each single one and told them exactly how much they mean to me. Everyone said yes and it was quite possibly the best birthday gift I had ever received!
Make it special for your MOH

I ended up asking my maid of honor {my sister} separately. We're best friends, so we're always doing *something* together. I popped the question to her over a sushi dinner with a similar gift bag. I would be lying if I said there weren't traces of a few tears on her proposal card.
How my fiance asked his groomsmen

My fiance, on the other hand, did something much different. He's a guy, so he wasn't too fond of any gift giving ideas. However, he didn't want to ask his groomsmen over text message. He made a point to schedule to see each one of them, bought them a beer, and popped the question. Guys sometimes have it too easy!

I'm so excited to share more of our wedding planning details with y'all over the next few months!
