An absolutely beautiful wedding, planned and designed by A Savvy Event, with Underwood Letterpress invites, La Tavola linens and a very funky escort card display (check this out!); the only way to make this celebration better is to add a hefty dose of emotion into it and don’t fret, we have that too. This couple didn’t say “I do” at any old winery; Imagery Estate Winery is the Bride’s family’s winery, where generations before her have tied the knot and where she herself works as a winemaker. How cool is that?! The Edges Wedding Photography captured it all, creating a gallery that is stunning and special – see it all right this way!
From A Savvy Event… Every so often we get the pleasure of designing a truly unique wedding here in wine country, and Jamie and Graham’s wedding was one of those. They held their nuptials at her family’s winery, where many generations before her tied the knot. Imagery Winery doesn’t generally host weddings, but it is a family tradition and since the bride is a winemaker there, it was only fitting. Kelly of A Savvy Event teamed up with Svenja from Chestnut and Vine to create a gorgeous ceremony backdrop, and tabletop flower design. Copper accents from Underwood Letterpress helped the guests to find their seats, and were complimented by geometric lanterns hanging over the head table.
The bride is not normally the “dress type” but her Liji Hod two piece gown fit her like it was made for her. She said that she felt so pretty in the dress that she couldn’t wait for Graham to finally see her in an elegant gown. Jamie wore the earrings that her sister wore on her wedding day, and an “H” pin that was her late grandmother’s that was also passed down from her sister. Their grandmother Helen Benziger passed away in May of 2000, and wearing her pin was Jamie’s way of keeping her close on her wedding day.
Jamie and Graham took a no-nonsense approach when it came to planning their wedding, and wanted to focus on making sure their guests had an incredible experience when it came to their reception. They teamed up with Stellar Catering for a simple, yet delicious meal. The bride and groom both credited the filet mignon as being a crowd favorite, along with the bacon marmalade topped brussel sprouts. They served Jamie’s newest wine label for Imagery Estate Winery, which most of the guests had never tasted before.
They topped the night off with the Flaming O’s and Jamie and her dad broke out a full on choreographed routine for their father-daughter dance. Their raucous celebration was met by a sheriff at the end of the night – who turned out to be a friend of the couple’s stopping by to wish them congratulations! The day was full of laughter and celebration (one of the groom’s favorite memories was his new father-in-law’s hilarious toast), and happy tears from the groom, and many family members alike.
