How to Make the Most of Your Wedding Weekend (Hint: Beach Bonfire Rehearsal Dinner!)
Yesterday, we shared Barbara and Dane's wedding weekend kickoff: a sunset sail around the islands of Bermuda followed by a tropical, al fresco dinner party under the stars. And today, you're in for a treat, because we're continuing the festivities with fabulous bridal party funny and a beach bonfire in the sand, all captured by the one and only Jose Villa.
A former British colony, Bermuda still maintains touches of British charm throughout, like these authentic phone booths, where the bride and groom met up for a quick kiss before separating with their bridesmaids and groomsmen for a day of fun.
Girls Just Want to Have Fun
While her groom went off with the boys, Barbara and her bridesmaids headed to Coral Beach & Tennis Club for a round of croquet and high tea. Over macarons, petit fours and a Pimm's Cup or two, the girls reminisced about the past and dreamt about the future.
Guy Time
Meanwhile, Dane and his friends headed to Woody's, a local institution known for their delicious fish sandwiches and dangerously good Rum Swizzles.
One Last Hurrah
After a day of fun, the couple reunited at The Reefs Resort & Club for a rehearsal dinner under the stars. With their toes in the sand and the ocean steps away, the couple and their guests toasted the soon-to-be newlyweds. But the highlight of the night was s'mores by the bonfire, where Barbara surprised guests with an outfit change that featured sequined pants and feather earrings!
