From Anna of Urban Petals… Pulling inspiration from the architectural features of the dramatic Old Sheldon Church Ruins, the low-country setting in Beaufort, South Carolina was the perfect backdrop for our styled editorial shoot with Heather Payne Photography. The design concept was produced with the sole purpose of inspiring future brides who are drawn to a lush, tailored-organic aesthetic featuring garden-style florals and who believe that details create extraordinary experiences. Each aspect of the shoot was chosen to tell a cohesive story and appeal to the discerning, sophisticated Bride. The palette combined tones of mauve, rust, peach and cream. The ultra feminine details of the couture Inbal Dror lace gowns and etched Anthropologie stemware were paired with modern elements including gold flatware and marble vessels. Thoughtful touches like the individual salt and pepper cellars (marble tiles) were introduced at each place setting. The beautiful muddy-raisin tones of Koko Loko roses and the like were featured throughout the bouquets and the table arrangements and gave the designs depth and visual interest. In keeping with the coastal setting, I opted to use driftwood chairs, which also provided a neutral warmth and texture to the romantic décor.
