From the artful floral crowns crafted by Darling Botanical to the macrame backdrop at the reception, this Traverse City wedding is full of Southern California’s signature style. We love the effortless, boho vibe, but what we love even more is the playful nature of this adorable couple and their joyful smiles captured by Anna Lord Studio – they can’t take their eyes off each other!
From Anna Lord Studio… Chaise and Michael’s wedding day was unbelievably intimate and filled with tears, laughter, and quality time with their closest family and friends. Their semi-destination wedding in Traverse City, Michigan, brought out some of their oldest and dearest friends from California, which made for an even more meaningful celebration. They both have such great taste, and it definitely reflected their modern, bohemian, and romantic style in their wedding details.
One of my favorite moments was when we were doing their portraits, they had decided to do the famous “dirty-dancing” move in the midst of this beautiful field with horses and rolling hills! Even beyond how fun that was, their love for each other is one of the sweetest and most caring that I’ve ever seen. They concluded their time at the venue by dancing on the deck of the barn under the beautiful night sky. It was a beautiful day!
