In a hauntingly beautiful medieval church in Orvieto, Italy, Lauryn and Joe said their vows to each other in front of their closest friends and family. When planning their destination wedding, the couple knew they would choose somewhere in Italy to bring their guests for a long celebration. Lauryn stumbled upon La Badia in Orvieto and knew it was the perfect venue for their wedding. The gorgeous crumbling stone arch and poetic tower set the stage for the most beautiful day. Lush greenery and understated flowers adorned the venue and highlighted it’s natural beauty. Lauryn looked radiant in a Casey Tanswell gown and Joe chose a classic Italian linen suit in light blue to compliment the simple palette. Long table dinners chock full of delicious Italian food and local wine kept the guests well fed and watered and fairy lights took the guests partying well into the night under the gorgeous Umbrian stars.
